FAQs
Should I make a reservation in advance?
Yes, our recommendation is to make it in advance, we don’t want you to miss your spot.
What is the pick-up time?
The pick-up starts at 7 am for full-day excursions. The day before the tour, we will confirm the exact time depending on the location of your hotel.
How can I locate the driver who is waiting for me?
We will send a photo of the vehicle and driver that will pick you up.
How much time is spent traveling on a bus tour?
While you can check travel times between the hotel and the destination, keep in mind that they will always be flexible due to various external factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and possible road closures that may affect travel times. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the times. In the case of shared transportation tours, it’s important to note that the time on the bus may increase as other customers need to be picked up from different hotels, and there is usually a stop at the meeting point before the start of the tour. If you prefer to avoid this additional time, we recommend opting for tours that offer private transportation.
How do I know if the date I’m interested in is available?
When we receive your booking request, we check the availability of the tour for the desired date. If it’s available, you will receive all the information about the next steps. If, for any reason, there is no availability, we will offer alternative dates or tours to ensure your trip to the Dominican Republic is perfect.
Can solo travelers book tours?
Solo travelers are welcome! In this case, we recommend tours with shared transportation.
What mode of transportation is usually used in the tours?
Various types of transportation can be used, generally including mini-vans, speedboats, catamarans, among others. You can see the types of transportation by checking the details of the tour in the “Included” section.
Are meals included in a tour?
Tours with an “All Day” duration include lunch. To check if the specific tour includes a meal, please refer to the “Included” section in the details of the selected tour.
How much money do I need for expenses on the excursions?
The amount of money you need will depend on personal preferences (souvenirs, shopping, optional activities, beverages, etc.). We always recommend carrying some cash. Commonly accepted currencies are Dominican Pesos, Euros, and US Dollars.
What does the “from” price mean?
On the website’s homepage, an initial price will be displayed as “from”, representing the default rate associated with the most economical option available. The final cost of the tour will vary based on the location of the accommodation, and specific rates for different areas can be checked in the details of each excursion.
What are the cancellation policies?
The consumer can withdraw from the requested or contracted services up to 24 hours before the start of the tour.
I don’t want to do a tour with more people. Are there alternatives?
We also offer private excursions, by road or road and sea, starting from 2 adults (or the equivalent minimum price for two adults) with highly competitive rates. We can customize tours for both groups and individual travelers.
